Synapri are supporting a leading SaaS organisation looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to play a key role in supporting the organisation's transition from Legacy application to a modern cloud SaaS platform.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Solutions Architect with a strong software development background, ideally with hands-on experience across .NET and Azure, who has worked on complex application migrations or the design and delivery of scalable web applications within a B2B environment, helping shape the architecture, technology strategy and engineering standards that underpin the next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

Define and maintain the target solution architecture for the organisation's product platforms.

Provide architectural leadership and technical direction across software development teams.

Design scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based solutions.

Lead API, integration, and data architecture initiatives.

Support the adoption of modern engineering practices, development standards, and architectural patterns.

Work closely with Product, UX and Engineering teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Support the ongoing migration from Legacy applications to modern cloud-native SaaS architecture.

Desired experience:

Significant experience working as a Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, Engineering Architect

Strong experience designing .NET solutions within PaaS/SaaS environments.

Strong expertise across Microsoft technologies, particularly .NET and Azure.

Experience designing API-first and integration-driven solutions.

Good understanding of modern architecture approaches, including microservices and cloud-native design.

Please note that the role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the Newcastle office.
