Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.About the CompanyOur client, a well-established small-to-medium enterprise operating within the UK Secure Government Sector, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in Westminster. This is a high-impact role supporting critical national infrastructure and defence programmes.About the RoleThe successful candidate will be a DevOps specialist with strong experience in container orchestration, particularly with Kubernetes and OpenShift, and will be comfortable working in a secure, on-site environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement and manage containerised environments using Kubernetes and OpenShiftDevelop and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelinesApply infrastructure-as-code principles using tools such as Terraform and AnsibleMonitor system performance and resolve complex production issuesEnsure compliance with security and governance standards across all environmentsQualificationsCurrent SC clearance is mandatoryCandidates must be eligible for DV clearance (British citizen, resident in the UK for the past 10 years)Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShiftProven background in DevOps within secure or government environmentsProficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CIExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred SkillsExperience in working on high-impact, secure government projectsAbility to join a close-knit, agile team within an established SMEPay range and compensation packageSalary: Up to £100,000 per annumEqual Opportunity StatementOur client is committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting
