We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect to shape the technology behind our next‑generation Digital Banking Platform – the foundation for both consumer and business banking experiences.
About the Role
As a Solution Architect , you’ll design and guide modern, cloud‑based solutions that power mobile and web banking platforms.
You’ll translate business goals into architectural blueprints, ensuring all systems are built for security, scalability, and reliability . Working closely with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and DevOps teams across different regions, you’ll act as the key bridge between business vision and technical reality .
You’ll be part of an international Agile organization with cross‑functional squads located both onshore and offshore. Collaboration, communication, and clarity will be central to your success, helping diverse teams deliver seamless, high‑quality digital experiences for millions of end users.
- Design and document future‑proof digital architectures (microservices, APIs, cloud‑native).
- Translate business requirements into technical solution designs aligned with enterprise standards.
- Deliver formal architecture deliverables such as Solution Designs and Project Start Architectures (PSA) .
- Ensure solutions meet strict standards for security, performance, and compliance .
- Guide and support DevOps teams through the implementation phase, ensuring built‑in quality.
- Advocate for architectural best practices and enable cross‑team collaboration across multiple squads.
- Implement zero‑trust authentication and secure integrations across digital channels.
- 5–8+ years of experience in IT (DevOps, Engineering, or Architecture).
- Hands‑on experience with architecture modeling frameworks such as ArchiMate or TOGAF .
- Proven background in designing cloud‑native solutions (preferably on Microsoft Azure ).
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture , APIs , and event‑driven systems .
- Past experience as a Java/Kotlin engineer and familiarity with Backends for Frontends (BFF) design patterns.
- Understanding of security principles (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Zero Trust) and compliance in regulated environments.
- Experience with OpenSearch , Docker/Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
- Comfortable working within Agile/Scrum teams.
- A systems thinker who can see the big picture without losing sight of details.
- A strong communicator – capable of explaining complex technical ideas in simple terms.
- A natural connector who collaborates across cultures and disciplines.
- Proactive, curious, and comfortable challenging the status quo to drive better solutions.
- A believer in influence through collaboration, not control.
