Senior Specialist Solutions Architect, End User Computing

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to help establish AWS Agentic WorkSpaces (formerly known as Amazon End User Computing) as the market leader in end user computing. You will help customers implement innovative cloud computing solutions focused on virtualized desktops, applications, and document collaboration.

Your broad responsibilities include owning technical engagement and ensuring success around specific implementation projects, engaging with executive audiences, and collaborating with other AWS solutions architects, partners, and professional services.

• Work with customers to deploy Amazon Agentic WorkSpaces - Personal, Applications and Core.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers using or considering AWS.
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer‑facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, and technical guides.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to become cloud advocates.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, partners, service engineering teams and support.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience within specific technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting of applications and infrastructure.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting within the software or Internet industries.
• 3+ years of experience designing and architecting workload migrations onto AWS.
• Practical or pre‑sales experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) or cloud‑based Desktop‑as‑a‑Service (DaaS) solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP systems (e.g., SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects) and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
• Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
• Experience and practical knowledge with VDI and DaaS solutions, preferably Amazon WorkSpaces, AppStream, Citrix, or VMware/Omnissa Horizon.
• Experience with designing and architecting workload migrations onto AWS.
