Security Engineer
Role description
No PowerPoint security. You design it, build it and automate it. For a newly signed enterprise environment of serious scale, we are looking for a principal who thinks in Terraform, treats infrastructure as code as the default and makes technical decisions others would rather create a steering committee for.
The role at a glance
Would you rather read a ten page job description, or have a real conversation? We believe in the second option, so we keep our vacancies short.
You will help shape a new customer environment with exceptional complexity and scale. You set the technical direction across security engineering, cloud and automation, making sure architecture does not end as a diagram but as secure, repeatable and maintainable infrastructure.
You are looking for:
- An environment where Terraform and infrastructure as code are foundational
- Complex cloud and security challenges without a ready made playbook
- Technical ownership, strong engineers around you and room to define standards
What you get based on your knowledge and experience:
- Compensation aligned with principal level impact and technical depth
- Significant autonomy within a new and business critical enterprise environment
- The freedom to shape tooling, architecture and engineering practices
About the organisation:
- A deeply technical environment where availability, security and automation come together
- Teams that prefer building over meetings and manage complex infrastructure through code
- A growing organisation scaling its security engineering capability after signing its largest customer to date
