G2 is representing a client in the marine sector who is looking for a Project / Work Package Managerto work on marine and naval sector projects. The client ideally wants someone with knowledge of electrical engineering, commissioning, or installation within the maritime or offshore sector, with experience in either technical engineering or hands-on management.

This position is an office-based role for a Technical Manager / Package Manager , with experience in power distribution, electrical integration, and control systems (viewing on deck) to liaise between the client, contractors and internal stakeholders.

THIS IS A PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY – NOT FREELANCE!

Start: Q1 – Q2 2025

Location: Rotterdam area, Netherlands

Salary: €5,000 - €7,500 per month over 12 months, +8% and bonus structure

Ideal Candidate:

• 5-10 years of experience (3+ years of engineering & 3+ years of managing a team)
• Technical engineering background – knowledge of electrical engineering
• Both degree-qualified or hands-on (installation, commissioning) backgrounds are considered
• Ideally, experience in the maritime, naval, or offshore industries
• Any projects engineering or project management experience – 2+ years
• Ability to coordinate technical teams, liaise with clients, and contractors
• Any experience with managing project plans, budgets, and timely delivery is applicable
