Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you're tasked with the responsible management of explosives in an underground setting. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, alongside a valid Blasters Ticket. You'll be responsible for safe operations, including loading explosives and ensuring all safety standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations
• Assemble and load explosives accurately as per requirements
• Conduct pre and post-blast inspections
• Maintain blasting equipment for optimal performance
• Keep precise logs of explosives usage and work performed
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Experience in underground mining preferred
• Valid Blasters Ticket in British Columbia
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Adaptable and eager to learn from skilled professionals
