Responsibilities

Perform patient intake and pre-procedure assessments for GI procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry rhythms
Administer and monitor conscious sedation
Start and manage IV therapy
Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures
Recover patients following procedures and general anesthesia
Administer medications and IV drips as ordered
Prepare, clean, and sterilize endoscopy equipment
Complete patient documentation, procedure notes, and discharge instructions
Educate patients and address questions regarding procedures and recovery
Requirements

✅ Active New York RN License
✅ BLS (AHA) Certification
✅ ACLS (AHA) Certification
✅ Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy procedure experience
✅ Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation experience
✅ Conscious sedation experience
✅ Expert IV insertion skills
✅ Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia
✅ Experience performing intake for GI procedures
