Position Summary

CompNova AI is seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead customer-facing Mobile Core Network deployment and integration programs across telecom environments. This role combines project leadership, telecom domain expertise, stakeholder management, and technical coordination to ensure successful delivery of core network software solutions within scope, budget, and timelines.

Detailed Job Description

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the deployment, integration, testing, and delivery of mobile core network software products for telecom operators. Working closely with architecture, engineering, operations, and customer teams, you will coordinate project activities from planning through production rollout. The role requires strong project management capabilities combined with a solid understanding of LTE, VoLTE, core network technologies, cloud platforms, and telecom software delivery methodologies. You will manage project schedules, risks, budgets, resource planning, vendor coordination, and executive reporting while ensuring successful customer outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, tracking, and delivery of core network deployment programs.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate deployment, integration, testing, and operational readiness activities.
• Support architecture and engineering teams in configuring and deploying mobile core network solutions.
• Manage customer communications, project reviews, and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate lab environments, pre-production activities, and production site access requirements.
• Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
• Manage third-party vendors, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate maintenance activities and production implementation windows when required.
• Prepare executive reports, status updates, risk assessments, and project documentation.
• Ensure adherence to telecom delivery methodologies and quality assurance standards.
• Support issue resolution and escalation management throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 4-8 years of experience in Technical Project Management within telecommunications environments.
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience managing Mobile Core Network projects.
• Strong experience in customer-facing telecom software delivery programs.
• Proven expertise in project planning, tracking, governance, and execution.
• Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Strong knowledge of LTE and VoLTE technologies.
• Understanding of Mobile Core Network architecture and deployment processes.
• Experience working with telecom operators and carrier environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex deployments within approved scope and budget.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendors and implementation partners.
• Strong technical understanding of core network and application platforms.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and telecom integration processes.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenStack and cloud-based telecom platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong reporting and executive communication capabilities.
