Our partner is a MedTech manufacturer dedicated to delivering high-end solutions in the field of radiotherapy, with products used by hospitals and clinics worldwide. With a close-knit and experienced team, they combine a strong focus on quality, safety, and innovation with a hands‑on and informal culture.
As Technical Engineer you are part of the engineering team and the consistent first point of contact for colleagues from QARA, Logistics, and Assembly Warehouse. You work at the intersection of engineering, documentation, and quality: from elaborating technical drawings and managing product documentation to handling the non‑conformance process and supporting the quality department with technical input.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as first point of contact for technical questions from QARA, Logistics, and Assembly Warehouse regarding products, drawings, materials, and specifications
- Assess and handle non‑conformances for incoming goods, including recording findings and coordinating follow‑up with suppliers
- Elaborate engineer‑supplied concepts into complete 3D part and assembly drawings in CAD software (Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar)
- Create and maintain production drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials
- Maintain and update Design and Development Files per product family, including traceability and V&V references
- Support the quality department with technical input for product registrations and compliance documentation
- Contribute to internal audits and complaint handling at documentation level
- Occasionally liaise with suppliers on rejected goods, replacements, and credit notes
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Around 3 years of relevant work experience in a technical role
- Hands‑on experience with CAD software such as Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar; ability to read and produce technical drawings is essential
- Affinity with regulated industries such as medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or pharma; deep QARA or MDR expertise is not required
- Pragmatic, quick to understand, and able to work independently within a small team
- Fluent in Dutch for day‑to‑day internal communication; good command of English is also required
