Role description
Date: 12/24-12/28 or 12/28-1/4 (must cover one block)
Schedule: 24-hour call (7a-7a); approximately 4-7 call shifts per month
Practice Setting: Hospital-based Cardiothoracic Surgery
EMR: Epic
Licensing: Kentucky license preferred; Board Certified; BLS required
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Required Skills: CABG, valve repair/replacement, Impella insertion/removal, ICU management, and structural heart support
Other Key Details: Heavy adult cardiac practice, 1-2 CT cases per day, hybrid OR access, dedicated first assist and CT anesthesia support, thoracic experience preferred but not required.
