The Shipper/Receiver
The Shipper/Receiver should be able to manage their own time efficiently to maximize productivity. The Shipper/Receiver contributes to the company's overall success by ensuring deadlines are met and production runs smoothly. Some of the most common daily tasks include:
- Arrange material needed to complete a job
- Keep track of incoming and outgoing products, equipment, or materials
- Monitor productions of each job in accordance with the Shop Manager
- Consult with Shop Manager and suppliers
- Ensure order fulfillment
- Address and resolving shipment and inventory issues
- Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures
- Clerical responsibilities for shipping and receiving department
- Inventory tracking and asset management
- Filling out any paperwork or providing documentation for each shipment
- Quality control
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Certificate in Warehouse Management or Parts Management Technician is an asset
- 3+ years experience in warehouse management, inventory tracking or logistics management
- Knowledge of ISO is an asset
