The Shipper/Receiver

The Shipper/Receiver should be able to manage their own time efficiently to maximize productivity. The Shipper/Receiver contributes to the company's overall success by ensuring deadlines are met and production runs smoothly. Some of the most common daily tasks include:

• Arrange material needed to complete a job
• Keep track of incoming and outgoing products, equipment, or materials
• Monitor productions of each job in accordance with the Shop Manager
• Consult with Shop Manager and suppliers
• Ensure order fulfillment
• Address and resolving shipment and inventory issues
• Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures
• Clerical responsibilities for shipping and receiving department
• Inventory tracking and asset management
• Filling out any paperwork or providing documentation for each shipment
• Quality control

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificate in Warehouse Management or Parts Management Technician is an asset
• 3+ years experience in warehouse management, inventory tracking or logistics management
• Knowledge of ISO is an asset
