Role description
The University of Niagara Falls Canada is hiring a Sessional Instructor for the Master of Data Analytics program for Fall 2026. Emphasizing a hybrid teaching approach, this role includes a minimum of two days per week on-site.This key role involves delivering lectures, creating and maintaining course materials, and actively engaging with students through office hours. Instruction will include both in-person and online formats to ensure inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Present compelling lectures in hybrid and physical settings
• Maintain and prepare course materials for accessibility
• Provide office hours for student academic support
• Design and assess student submissions with timely feedback
• Work collaboratively on curriculum aligning with industry needs
Requirements:
• PhD in Data Analytics or related discipline
• Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, and DAX
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling practices
• Previous post-secondary teaching experience preferred
• Relevant industry experience in data analytics required
