Position

Part time Food & Beverage Server

Responsibilities

• Take orders on the phone or in person from customers.
• Collect cash, credit/debit cards or other payment for food & beverages.
• Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
• Inform customers regarding contents of food, cocktails or other drinks.
• Operate point‑of‑sales system.
• Organize and set up the counter, bar, cooler.
• Count beverage products.
• Record and balance sales.
• Stand for extended periods and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Work day shift and night shift until 3 am.
• Report to the owner.

Qualifications

• 19 years or older.
• Must have SIRS certification or be willing to obtain it.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must be honest, reliable, patient, active and trustworthy.
• Must be able to deal with intoxicated people and work under pressure.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must have own vehicle to commute; location is just 5 mins outside of Prince Albert in Redwing, Buckland.
• Only candidates in Canada with a valid work permit will be considered.

Other Requirements

• Standing for extended periods.
• Critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, working with others, oral communication.
• Ability to use memory, find information.
• Ability to operate cash register.
• Willing to train the right person and expertise and abilities.

Benefits

Based on experience, wage will be negotiated. Tips will be collected on the same day.
