Senior Software Engineer

Role description

Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Data and Applications, the Senior Software Developer will:

• Design and develop Oracle PLSQL stored procedures, functions, etc.
• Design, develop, create React front end applications
• Recommend features, design, and implement innovative solutions to improve platform performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven experience of minimum 2 years of recent development and customization of AMANDA Enterprise for digitization of permitting or licensing services (mandatory).
• Proven experience of minimum of 5 years of developing Oracle databases (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years of development experience with C# and Microsoft .NET Core Web API development.
• Experience implementing complex business processes (government, public sector, financial institutions, insurance companies or other regulatory compliance workflows) into AMANDA in a software developer role.

Skills and Depth:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to respond to changing priorities and circumstances.
