Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you support customers in creating and integrating system control software for high-tech equipment in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical technology industries within the Brainport region and beyond. Your software expertise plays a vital role in bringing advanced systems to life across different operating systems, including state machine modelling and real-time applications.

What you'll do

• Take ownership of your assignments with the freedom and responsibility to deliver high-quality solutions throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Develop system control software for modules and complete systems in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical technology sectors.
• Apply and further develop your expertise in software engineering, system control, and modern development practices.
• Coach and mentor colleagues to support their professional growth.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies, and translate them into practical solutions for customers.

What you bring

• 5-7 years of experience in software development within high-tech industries such as semiconductor, analytical, or medical technology.
• Experience developing OS-based system control software using modern C++ and model-driven development practices within Agile or SAFe environments.
• Strong expertise in modern C++ and C# , with additional experience in Python or other programming languages.
• Experience developing software across different operating systems, including real-time, state machine, and/or high-performance applications.
• Experience maintaining and modernizing legacy code, including adding new features and refactoring.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel internationally when required.
