As a Senior Microsoft Systems Administrator , you will be part of a global IT Operations team, working closely with Helpdesk, Linux administrators, network engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and business stakeholders. You will play a key role in designing, optimising, and maintaining the end‑user and directory infrastructure, with the autonomy to be creative in your technical solutions.

Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and maintain a global Microsoft directory infrastructure with a strong focus on security best practices, high availability, scalability, and business continuity
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement long‑term, sustainable solutions
- Automate, standardise, and document IT processes to improve efficiency and reliability
- Provide hardware and software support to internal teams
- Conduct regular audits of the environment, ensuring compliance with security and industry standards
- Perform remote troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve production issues
- Manage the full server lifecycle, including building, deploying, and maintaining new solutions
- Monitor system performance and manage capacity planning
Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft environments, including Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and integrated on‑premise Active Directory
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, ICT, or a related field
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects across different teams and deliver them successfully
- Hands‑on experience building scalable systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), PowerShell scripting, and Autopilot
- Solid Windows desktop and server configuration management skills
- Good understanding of networking, authentication, and identity management principles
- Experience with Linux administration is a plus
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
