Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician
to join our collaborative and compassionate team!
Position Summary
As a
Registered Veterinary Technician , you’ll play a key role in supporting our doctors and delivering high-quality medical care. Whether you're assisting in surgery, performing technical skills, or educating pet parents, you'll be an essential part of our hospital’s daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
Perform and support anesthesia monitoring and surgical procedures
Prepare patients and surgical areas for procedures
Collect and process lab samples (fecal, urine, cytology)
Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and surgical instruments
Provide clear communication and compassionate care to clients and patients
Qualifications
Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license required
Prior clinical experience preferred
Strong technical, communication, and multitasking skills
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Registered Veterinary Technician Responsibilties: - Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms - Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals - Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members - Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring - Proficient in dental prophylaxis
Registered Veterinary Technician Qualifications: - Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state. (SVP will pay for a transfer / additional state licensing for DC if applicable).
- Associates degree in Veterinary Technology
- Pay range of $28-$35+/hour - $2000 Sign-On Bonus
