Role description

Become a Registered Early Childhood Educator at Compass Early Learning and Care in Keene, Ontario. This contract role empowers you to shape children's growth through engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
In this vital position, you will collaborate with families, engage in children's play, and document their learning journeys. Your understanding of the Child Care Early Years Act will help create a safe space for learning and development. You will participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and contribute to the program's success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement play-based activities for child development
• Supervise children actively during all activities
• Track and document children’s learning experiences
• Ensure a safe and healthy childcare environment
• Assist with children’s personal needs and interactions
Requirements:
• 1-3 years’ experience working with young children
• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR credentials
• Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check required
• Preferred registration with College of Early Childhood Educators
