Role description
A leading manufacturer in the rail industry is seeking an ATS Rail Systems Engineering Manager in the Toronto, Ontario area.
Candidates Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline is required.
- Significant engineering management experience leading complex technical projects, including multi-site engineering teams.
- Strong railway systems experience with a focus on Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) and/or rail control and supervision systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in software design, data preparation, system integration, validation/verification, and technical design governance.
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or equivalent, with strong knowledge of requirements traceability, change management, and engineering processes.
- Proven experience working directly with customers, suppliers, partners, and cross-functional teams throughout integration, testing, commissioning, and delivery.
