You'll join a highly technical environment where engineering quality, performance and collaboration are valued just as highly as innovation.This isn't a traditional application development role. You'll help create the tools, workflows and platforms that enable researchers to move quickly from ideas to production, taking ownership throughout the full software lifecycle.What you\'ll be doingPartnering with Quantitative Researchers to build software supporting research and tradingDeveloping scalable Python applications and workflowsDesigning high-performance solutions for processing and analysing large datasetsCollaborating with engineering teams to build reusable software componentsTaking ownership from design through to deployment and ongoing improvementSupporting business-critical systems within a modern engineering environmentWe\'re looking forStrong commercial Python development experience (4+ years)Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance or a similar technical disciplineExperience designing robust, scalable softwareUnderstanding of data processing, storage and analysisExperience with modern software engineering practices including Git and AgileExcellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with highly technical stakeholdersDesirable experienceC++ or KDB+/qQuantitative or financial engineering experienceCI/CD pipelinesLogging and monitoring platformsDatabase technologiesSoftware architecture and solution designWhy apply?You'll work alongside some of the brightest engineers and quantitative researchers in the industry, solving complex technical problems that directly influence research and trading.
