Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to support complex Oil & Gas projects from our Rotterdam office. This is a Project Management role, focused on coordinating and delivering projects successfully, not an engineering design position. We welcome professionals with either a maritime project background (e.g. Damen or similar) or a strong Instrumentation, Electrical or ICSS background.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project execution throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, risks and deliverables together with the Project Manager.
• Act as the central point of contact between engineering, procurement, construction and external stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in compliance with quality standards.
• Support client communication, change management and project reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer within Project Management (not an Engineering Design role).
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is essential.
• We are interested in candidates with one of the following backgrounds:
• Project Engineer with experience within a shipbuilding, maritime, offshore contractoror or similar maritime/offshore company
• Project Engineer with expertise in Instrumentation, Electrical or ICSS projects.
• Strong project coordination, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work offshore when required.
