We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer III to lead a design team in the dynamic petroleum refining and chemical process industry, focusing on innovative process design and optimization.
Role Overview
- Lead the development of basic process design specifications and oversee engineering contractor deliverables during project phases.
- Monitor and guide junior engineers in creating heat & material balances, design flow plans, and process equipment designs.
- Conduct process optimization studies to identify capital and operating cost savings and evaluate process configuration alternatives.
- Provide technical oversight for engineering contractor work to ensure adherence to company methods and project specifications.
- Participate in Hazard & Operability Reviews for new or modified facilities.
- Assist in commissioning and start-up of new or modified facilities as required.
- Establish organization and staffing processes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Process Engineering: Strong background in process design and optimization.
- Technical Oversight: Ability to provide guidance on engineering deliverables.
- Adaptability: Capacity to manage tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office suite.
- Communication: Fluent in English for technical and business communications.
Education & Experience
- Degree: BS/MS in Chemical Engineering or equivalent required.
- Experience: Relevant experience in petroleum refining or chemical process industries.
