We are recruiting a
licensed Physical Therapist in Edison, NJ
for an orthopedic outpatient practice offering a predictable weekday schedule and manageable patient flow.
In this position, you will work directly with patients who need help restoring strength, mobility, movement, and physical function. Your day will include clinical assessments, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, patient education, progress reviews, and documentation.
The practice schedules approximately
1–2 patients per hour , with regular working hours of
9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday to Friday .
Key Responsibilities
Assess patients referred for outpatient physical therapy
Determine functional limitations and establish appropriate therapy goals
Design rehabilitation programs based on diagnosis, evaluation findings, and patient needs
Provide therapeutic exercise and functional movement training
Help patients safely progress through different stages of rehabilitation
Review treatment outcomes and revise care plans as needed
Teach patients techniques and exercises they can continue outside the clinic
Maintain organized, accurate, and timely patient documentation
Position Requirements
Valid
Physical Therapist license in New Jersey
Doctor of Physical Therapy ( DPT ) or Master of Science in Physical Therapy ( MSPT )
Prior outpatient physical therapy experience
Background treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal cases
Ability to independently manage evaluations, treatments, and clinical documentation
Pay & Benefits
$90,000–$100,000/year , depending on experience, plus:
