Phased Array Technician for Echo NDE

Role description

Become part of Echo NDE as a Phased Array Technician, focusing on pipeline inspections across Western Canada and the United States. This role is for experienced technicians skilled in PAUT and industry code compliance.
As a technician, you will engage in crucial inspections for pipeline integrity, interpreting data and working alongside field teams. Candidates should be well-versed in various NDE inspection methods and possess strong analytical capabilities, ensuring accurate assessments of pipeline conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize NDE methods to find pipeline flaws
• Conduct examinations on live pipes
• Review and assist with inspection reports
• Carry out Phased Array inspections on various pipe components
• Collaborate with project teams and field personnel
Requirements:
• CGSB Ultrasonic Testing UT2 certificate required
• Must have PCN PAUT Level 2 or equivalent
• CGSB Magnetic Particle Testing MT2 certification necessary
• Solid understanding of pipeline inspection protocols
• Strong ability to manage inspection data effectively
