Qualifications:
* Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
* Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
* 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
* BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
* Proficient in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities:
* Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
* Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
* Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
* Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Salary: $72,470 to $111,200 /year
