Package Handler (Warehouse like)

Role description

Responsibilities

Charge and unload freight, digitize and sort freight within the facility.

Transport freight within and between facilities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs regulations desired.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to complete all basic and periodic training.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs and maneuver any package up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Must possess a valid full driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Pay rate: $20.37/hour.
• Shift: Monday shift starts at 16:05, the rest of the week at 16:35. Requires a full Canadian Class 5 license.

Must succeed recurring training and maintain any annual accreditations as applicable. Must work a variable schedule. Residents in Quebec province must be bilingual (French and English). Candidates for positions requiring driving must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record with no more than two infractions/accidents in the 24 months prior to application.
