NPI Engineer

The Opportunity

As an NPI Engineer at RiboPro, you will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists developing our groundbreaking RIBOFLUX™ systems. Unlike conventional equipment, these innovative platforms are designed from the ground up and challenge traditional engineering approaches. You will play a key role in the development and industrialization of components and modules for both the microfluidic core of the system and the integrated high-tech machine surrounding it. Working at the intersection of mechanical engineering, microfluidics, and life sciences, you will help transform pioneering concepts into robust, industrialized products that have the potential to redefine mRNA manufacturing.

Core responsibilities

• New product introduction into supply chain
• Develop manufacturing processes for new products
• Coordinate verification and validation activities
• Support suppliers and manufacturing teams
• Drive quality and process improvements

Requirements

• At least BSc in a relevant technical field
• Professional experience (3y+) with new product introduction, pref. plastic products (IM)
• Fluent in Dutch and English, pref. sufficient in German
• Experience (3y+) in product tolerance analysis, pref. including GD&T.
• Experience (3y+) in DFM(AT) and Quality Control
• Experience in CAD (3D/2D), pref. with SolidWorks
• Knowledge of plastics joining (as bonding and glueing) and production (as IM)
• Design of experiments and product verification

Preferred experience:

• Product Lifecycle (or Data) Management, pref. in 3DExperience
• Medical product regulations
• Manufacturing in clean environments
