Role description
As a Network Systems Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain SDKs and APIs to enable seamless integration between software applications, hardware layers, and cloud platforms.
- Build and enhance front-end and back-end functionalities for Security, SD-WAN, and switching solutions.
- Develop and manage L2/L3 networking features including VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol, Routing, and IPv4/IPv6 technologies.
- Create automation scripts and custom payload templates to streamline network provisioning and operational workflows.
- Integrate and manage webhooks to support scalable and event-driven network operations.
- Investigate and resolve complex customer-impacting issues across distributed systems and cloud environments.
- Write robust unit, integration, and regression tests to reproduce defects and ensure system reliability.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize storage and backup infrastructure to ensure high availability and data integrity.
- Perform system audits, compliance checks, and disaster recovery validations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance networking solutions.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 8–10 years of experience in software engineering, networking, or cloud-based infrastructure development.
- Strong expertise in Cisco Meraki technologies and dashboard integrations.
- Hands-on experience with networking protocols such as VLANs, STP, Routing, IPv4, and IPv6.
- Proficiency in API development, SDK implementation, and cloud integration frameworks.
- Experience in developing scalable front-end and back-end applications.
- Knowledge of distributed systems architecture and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Solid understanding of storage systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery practices.
- Experience with automation scripting using Python, Shell, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with webhooks, REST APIs, and custom payload management.
- Strong debugging, testing, and performance optimization skills.
