Network Routing Engineer:

For one of our globally leading tech clients, we are urgently looking for an experienced Network Routing Engineer for a long contract based in Eindhoven, NL.

Job Description:

• A Routing & Switching Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing & troubleshooting network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance reliability and scalability.
• Team player, positive attitude, good communicator, friendly personality able to work in a multicultural environment, flexible work schedule.
• Good technical knowledge in Network Design & Implementation.
• Troubleshoot network issues related to routing, switching, or connectivity.
• Awareness of Routing & Switch Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
• Implement ACLs and other security measures.
• Plan & execute network upgrades to support growth, evaluate and recommend new technologies or tools.
• Experience in Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment.
• Good team player with problem-solving aptitude.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in infrastructure environment.
• ITSM knowledge and experience.
• Strong working knowledge on Network design, Maintenance, Routing & Switching protocols, network security compliance.
