Role description

Facilitate nature programs as an Educator with Earth Path at Just Food Farm. Help children thrive through exploration and connection with the natural world beginning September 2026.
As a Nature Educator, you will co-facilitate programs catering to children aged 4-14, working alongside experienced educators to create an inspiring and safe environment. Your role will center on nurturing curiosity, creativity, and environmental stewardship, while providing hands-on learning experiences. Your background in naturalist skills and experience with children will be vital for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support children’s programs and learning experiences
• Design activities focusing on nature connection
• Maintain safety and inclusivity for all participants
• Assist children with physical needs during outdoor activities
• Record and share memorable moments with parents and colleagues
Requirements:
• Established interest or knowledge in naturalist topics
• Background in working with children across development stages
• Vulnerable Sector Check required before start
• Certification in First Aid and CPR needed prior to employment
• Ability to adapt in dynamic outdoor settings
