What you will be doing
Train to safely operate, and / or operate, a ready-mix truck in urban and rural settings, including tight construction sites
Complete routine equipment maintenance, including daily unit cleanliness and reporting minor mechanical issues
Help maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free areas in and around the plant
Perform all work safely and in compliance with company safety protocols
Maintain compliance with DOT, BURNCO, and regulatory requirements
What we would like from you
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid Commercial Driver’s License
Minimum 1 year of general commercial driving experience or ready-mix / mixer driving experience
Ability to successfully complete MVR, background check, drug and alcohol testing, and physical assessment requirements
Willingness to work irregular hours, including Saturdays, based on business needs
Flexibility to support other BURNCO plants as required
Strong commitment to safety, customer service, teamwork, and professionalism
Location and other key details:
This is a full-time permanent field-based position at our Krugerville site
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
This is a safety sensitive position, offers of employment are conditional on successful completion of fitness for duty assessments, including drug and alcohol screening and a criminal background check
Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions and challenging outdoor environments
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly sits, stands, walks, types, and occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs
Occasional travel to multiple BURNCO sites; must be comfortable working in an industrial setting with PPE
