Mechanical Construction Manager - Data Centre - Amsterdam
Falcon Green have partnered with a leading engineering contractor that specialises in modern mission-critical and data centre infrastructure across Ireland, the UK and Europe. Following the successful acquisition of a landmark data centre scheme in Amsterdam, they are expanding and require a Mechanical Construction Manager for a scheme valued at over £100m+
Experience from a data centre background is advantageous but not essential. The role focuses on project delivery, commercial awareness and people management.
You will work for a market-leading contractor that operates a diverse business model with strong health and safety and employee engagement practises. There is excellent scope for long-term work with this contractor due to a full order book in the UK and Central Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Construction Site Managers and advise them on all Mechanical aspects of the project
- Coordinate with the M&E Design Coordinators and Consultant Design Teams to deal with technical queries
- Coordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions, and resources
- Actively review and analyse information received and coordinate that information
- Collaborate with the site administration team to ensure subcontractors have up-to-date project information
- Monitor Mechanical site progress
Key Requirements
- Ideally experience on data centres, Life Sciences & Technology, Healthcare or similar mission-critical sectors
- Good knowledge of varied Mechanical construction techniques and their implementation
- Mechanically biased with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Client-facing with excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to overcome challenges
