We are currently recruiting for an experienced

Hydraulic Press Operative

to join a well-established manufacturing environment on a temporary basis, with the potential for the position to become long term.
The successful candidate will have

hands-on experience in press machining , ideally working with

traditional/manual hydraulic press machines . This is a hands-on role and requires someone who is confident operating older-style manual press machinery and understands the importance of accuracy, quality and safe working practices.
The Role

Operating traditional/manual hydraulic press machines
Setting and operating presses to produce components to specification
Loading and positioning materials correctly
Carrying out press machining and forming operations
Checking components for quality and accuracy
Following drawings, specifications and production requirements
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
The Ideal Candidate

Previous press machining experience is essential
Experience operating

manual/older-style hydraulic presses
Confident working with press machinery without relying heavily on automated systems
Good understanding of press operations, tooling and material handling
Strong attention to detail and quality
Reliable, practical and hands-on approach
Comfortable working rotating shifts
