100% Remote :: Security Administrator - Mainframe and Broadcom Top-secret - KUMDC
Location :: Remote
Duties and Responsibilities
- Senior security administrator to provide the mainframe user and application access support and project task requests utilizing Broadcom Top-secret, Broadcom Compliance Manager, TSS Admin Express and other homegrown tooling.
- Interact with technology teams such as Developers, Systems Programming, DBA, CICS/MQ Support, etc. to provide the mainframe security support.
- Support technology group project implementation while adhering to the firm policy and security best practices.
- Develop automation, tooling, reports, utilities, and batch programs.
- Troubleshoot and track issue tickets with various teams and users.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation and address questions/issues.
- Coordinate with Security Management team to review security proposals and assess technical feasibility.
Qualifications
- College graduate with 5+ years related work experience on the mainframe.
- Advanced experience with Broadcom Top Secret configuration and supporting tooling including CA/Broadcom-TSS, CA/Broadcom-Compliance Manager, TSS Admin Express.
- Working knowledge and support of digital certificates, Kerberos, SSL, and SSH.
- Ability to program in at least one command Mainframe batch and reporting language (such as: C, JCL, CARLA, REXX, CLIST, ISPF, SAS).
- Experience with z/OS utilities and facilities (such as: ISPF, TSO, SDSF, JES).
- Experience with database technology (such as: Sybase, DB2, SQL).
- Understanding of security concepts and technologies.
- Capable of working independently with limited oversight.
- MS Office business application experience (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a team player and foster a team first environment and culture.
- Open for working on call rotation (weekends).
- Experience with IBM‑RACF and ZSecure.
- Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and MS Teams.
- Experience with distributed technology (such as: UNIX, USS file systems).
- Knowledge of C, shell scripting, OpenSSL, SSH, CARLA.
- Good project planning, organization, time management skills and ability to multi‑task.
- Prior experience with Systems Programming, Mainframe Network engineering, Middleware (such as: MQ Series, etc.).
