Support Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug's urgent family needs as an On-Call Staff member. Engage actively with the community to provide critical emergency services that inspire healing and empowerment for children and families.
This casual position involves collaborating with the KIDO Emergency Services Unit to deliver MDK services during after-hours. A focus on love, respect, and an understanding of traditional teachings is crucial as you respond to community needs. Your role will include assisting in safety protocols and ensuring effective cooperation with dedicated staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Approach all interactions with compassion and professionalism
• Ensure all documentation for cases is completed promptly
• Coordinate with KIDO staff for effective service delivery
• Review compliance with KIDO response protocols
• Report assigned duties to your supervisor regularly
Requirements:
• Experience in emergency response or family services is an asset
• High school diploma required; higher education preferred
• Interest in learning and culture essential forcommunity engagement
• Effective written and verbal communication skills needed
• Willing to work flexible hours and adapt to community needs
