IT Analyst
Role description
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve hardware, software, network, and application-related issues.
- Provide technical support to end users through ticketing systems, email, phone, or in-person assistance.
- Monitor IT systems, applications, and infrastructure for performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system and application issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Manage and maintain user accounts, access permissions, and IT assets.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams for issue resolution.
- Document incidents, resolutions, system changes, and technical procedures.
- Assist with system upgrades, software installations, patches, and IT projects.
- Analyze IT-related data and prepare reports for management.
- Follow IT security policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Identify recurring technical issues and recommend process or system improvements.
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and LAN/WAN.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or similar enterprise tools.
- Familiarity with IT service management and ticketing tools.
- Good understanding of hardware, software, and application support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple incidents or requests.
