This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding professional with customs entry and freight operations knowledge who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong attention to detail within import and Exports
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000
Completing and processing customs entries accurately and efficiently
Handling import and export customs declarations
Coordinating road freight shipments across the UK and Overseas
Liaising with customers, hauliers, customs authorities, and overseas agents
Monitoring shipment progress and resolving operational issues
Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company procedures
Maintaining accurate shipment and customs records
Providing excellent customer service and operational support
Requirements
Previous experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or customs operations
Knowledge of customs entries and customs procedures
Road freight experience is essential
Familiarity with Boxtop / Sequoia and customs software would be advantageous
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Monday to Friday AM - PM
Fully office based
