Job Description
As a grader operator working in the Civil & Infrastructure team at Pomerleau, you will work closely with all workers to ensure the coordination and execution of work in a safe manner. Working on large-scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over a billion dollars, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the productivity and efficiency of work on our sites.
What You Will Do
- Operate a grader to perform grading, finishing and maintenance work on road, highway or infrastructure construction sites;
- Adhere to safety procedures to ensure compliance with company and construction industry standards;
- Work as a team, maintain a pleasant and trusting working climate, collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and other shifts on the site;
- Take care and maintain the equipment;
- Perform all other related tasks related to operations.
This Role Is Made For You
- A valid CCQ grader operator card
- A valid ASP Construction card and WHMIS 2015
- A DEP construction equipment operator or equivalent experience
- A valid driving license – Class 5
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
