About the role
As Financial Controller, you will be a key player within our organisation. You'll combine strong analytical skills with a hands‑on approach and coaching leadership style.
You will work in an international, dynamic production environment where flexibility, prioritistion and solution‑oriented thinking are essential. With your insights, you will help our organisation continue to grow as part of an ambitious international group.
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes and safeguard the quality and reliability of financial figures
- Prepare management and production reports and translate analyses into clear steering information
- Responsible for payroll administration, annual financial statements and VAT returns for five entities
- Deliver financial analysis and reports that support well‑founded strategic and operational decision‑making
- Provide coaching leadership to a team of finance professionals and stimulate their professional and personal development
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations and proactively anticipate changes
- Be the primary point of contact for the external auditor
About you
- An HBO/bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Economics or related field
- Extensive work experience within a complex, international organisation (preferably in a production environment)
- Solid knowledge of financial processes and relevant legislation (including VAT returns, WKR, legal and tax matters)
- Experience with consolidation software (such as Hyperion) is a plus
- A coaching leadership style and the ambition to further develop in this area
- Fluency in both Dutch and English languages are essential
- Resilient and decisive approach with a service‑orientated mindset
