Role description
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensuring compliance with banking regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and financial close activities
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Analysing financial performance and providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders
- Working closely with Risk, Finance, Compliance, and Audit teams
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial controls
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Contributing to finance transformation and process optimisation initiative

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Several years of experience in Financial Control, Accounting, Audit, or Banking Finance
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience within Financial Services, Banking, or a regulated environment is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems/ERP platforms
- A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach
