Role description

A health services system in Connecticut is seeking a licensed Emergency Medicine Physician to join their acute care facility in New London County.
About the Opportunity:
Shift: Night
Schedule: Sunday through Saturday
Hours: 11pm to 9am
Setting: Emergency Department
Responsibilities:
Provide emergency medicine care for patients presenting to the emergency department
Perform standard emergency department procedures as needed
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute medical conditions
Collaborate with advanced practice providers and other physicians to support patient care
Deliver care during overnight hours, including periods of single coverage
Qualifications:
CT medical license
Board certification in Emergency Medicine by ABEM
Desired Skills:
Experience working in a high-volume emergency department
Comfort with overnight single-coverage emergency medicine practice
Familiarity with standard emergency department procedures
