Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of emergency medical conditions
Perform emergency procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine practice
Stabilize critically ill and injured patients
Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations
Collaborate with consulting specialists and hospital staff to coordinate patient care
Document patient encounters accurately using the electronic medical record
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based emergency care in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure
Current DEA registration
ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, as required
