Key User EPLAN / Electrical Engineer – Naval Shipbuilding

Are you an experienced EPLAN specialist with a passion for electrical engineering and process improvement? We are looking for a Key User EPLAN / Electrical Engineer to join our Naval Engineering team in the Netherlands.

In this hybrid role, you will combine EPLAN key user responsibilities with hands-on electrical engineering for naval shipbuilding projects. You will support engineers, improve engineering efficiency, develop standards, and contribute to the detailed design of electrical systems for advanced naval vessels.

Your Responsibilities

• Support and train EPLAN users across the engineering department.
• Manage and develop EPLAN libraries, macros, templates, and components.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of EPLAN processes.
• Coordinate with Application Managers and other EPLAN Key Users.
• Design electrical systems and schematics using EPLAN.
• Prepare technical specifications and support production and installation.
• Review and improve engineering data and documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience with EPLAN Electric P8.
• Experience designing electrical installations in a shipbuilding, marine, offshore, or industrial environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
• Passion for improving engineering processes and supporting colleagues.
