Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for designing, validating, and improving electrical systems within our innovative security solutions. You work closely with Product Management, Service, Procurement, suppliers, and external engineering partners to develop reliable, efficient, and future-proof products.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing electrical schematics and systems
- Testing, validating, and optimizing new and existing solutions
- Coordinating CE certification and compliance activities
- Supporting manufacturing partners and suppliers
- Troubleshooting technical issues and performing root cause analyses
- Contributing to process improvements and innovation projects
- Analyzing system data and implementing optimizations
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- Experience with electrical system design and electrical schematics
- Knowledge of CE regulations and compliance processes
- Experience with testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Experience working with suppliers and external engineering partners is a plus
- Experience within technical product development or manufacturing environments is preferred
Benefits
- A one-year contract with the intention to convert it into a permanent contract
- A salary between €3,000 and €5,200 per month, depending on your experience
- Hybrid working; for this role, you will primarily be based at our offices in Apeldoorn, Assen, and Enschede

Location
You will work at BauWatch Technology, the R&D and software development department of the BauWatch Group. Here, we develop the technology behind our security solutions. The department consists of approximately 50 engineers working across different teams, each with its own focus area. Much of our work is at the intersection of IoT, home automation, and smart technology. The atmosphere is informal. We build serious software, but there is always room for humor and team spirit.
