Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Dental Hygienist for our small but fun Jenison office. If you are motivated, outgoing, and enjoy your work, we have great patients and staff waiting to meet you. Whether you have years of experience, or are a new grad, we are excited to meet and work with you!
Office Hours
Monday: 8:00am-4:00pm
Tuesday: 11:00am-7:00pm
Wednesday: 11:00am-7:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am-4:00pm
Responsibilities
Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible
Sterilize dental instruments
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Take X-rays
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
