Due to continued growth and increasing demand for modern cloud data platforms, the business is looking to appoint a Databricks Data Architect to play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, secure and high-performing data architectures that enable advanced analytics and AI initiatives.This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative data team in a role that combines solution architecture, technical leadership, stakeholder engagement and modern data platform design. You will help shape the organisation's data strategy while driving the adoption of Databricks-based solutions that support both operational and strategic decision-making.Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams and fellow data professionals, you will define architecture standards, design the data platform and establish best practices that enable the organisation to maximise the value of their data assets.Key ResponsibilitiesDesigning and delivering enterprise-scale data architectures using Databricks and modern cloud technologiesArchitecting Lakehouse solutions that support analytics and reportingDefining data modelling standards, governance frameworks and architectural best practicesWorking closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutionsLeading the design of data integration, transformation and optimisation strategies across complex environmentsEnsuring solutions meet requirements around security, performance, reliability and data qualitySkills & ExperienceProven experience in Data Architecture, Solution Architecture or a senior data-focused roleStrong expertise designing and implementing solutions on the Databricks platformExperience with modern cloud platforms such as AzureAdvanced SQL & Python skills for large-scale data solutionsStrong understanding of Lakehouse architecture, data modelling and data engineering best practicesExperience establishing governance, lineage, security and data quality frameworksExperience leading technical teams and driving architectural strategies across complex data programmesWhat's on OfferSalary up to £110,000 and comprehensive benefits packageFlexible hybrid working model with a mix of office and remote working25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with servicePrivate medical insurance, healthcare cash plan and wellbeing supportAccess to ongoing learning, development and professional certification opportunities#J-18808-Ljbffr
