Data Solutions ArchitectTechnical / Solution Architecture | Data Platforms | Security & Regulated EnvironmentsLondon - 3 Days Per Week OnsiteActive SC Clearance Required6-Month Contract£652.20 per day (Inside IR35)We are seeking an experienced Data Solutions Architect to join a high‑profile programme delivering complex data and analytics capabilities within a secure and regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end data solutions that align with business, technical, security, and operational requirementsProduce high-quality architecture artefacts including HLDs, LLDs, architecture decision records, and options assessmentsDefine current-state, target-state, and transition architectures, including phased delivery roadmapsEnsure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and operationally supportableProvide architectural leadership throughout delivery, supporting technical teams during implementationParticipate in design reviews, governance forums, and architectural assurance activitiesWork closely with engineering, security, and programme stakeholders to ensure architecture standards are metSupport architecture documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition planningRequired ExperienceProven experience in a Data Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, or similar architecture-focused roleStrong background designing modern cloud-based data and analytics platformsExperience working within highly regulated, security-conscious, or complex enterprise environmentsAbility to translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust technical solutionsExperience producing detailed architecture documentation for governance and assurance purposesStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsTechnical SkillsCloud data platforms such as Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or similarDistributed data processing technologies, including Spark-based platformsEnterprise integration patterns including APIs, event-driven architectures, and service-based solutionsPlatform engineering, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and DevOps practicesCloud landing zones, identity and access management, secure connectivity, and enterprise-scale architecture patternsData architecture, application architecture, infrastructure architecture, and security architecture principlesDesirable ExperienceExperience operating within architecture governance frameworks and design authoritiesArchitectural assurance and design review board participationOperational resilience and security-focused solution designTechnology evaluation, options analysis, and vendor selectionSupporting capability uplift and knowledge transfer within client teamsContract Details6-Month Initial Contract£652.20 per dayInside IR35London Based3 Days Per Week OnsiteActive SC Clearance Required
