Data Science Engineer (Amsterdam • Hybrid 2–3 days onsite)
We are looking for an experienced Data/ML Engineer to join a high-impact product team working on global pricing and forecasting solutions. In this role, you will help design, develop, and deploy ML models that directly influence pricing decisions across international markets.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Analysts, and Software Engineers in a collaborative product team.
- Build price elasticity and quantity forecasting models used across multiple countries.
- Apply ML models to price optimization algorithms and contribute to shaping the pricing strategy.
- Deploy models into production and contribute to the end-to-end ML lifecycle.
- Proactively support scoping, refinement, and prioritization discussions within the team.
✅ Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, or another STEM field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience delivering production‑grade ML solutions .
- Strong foundation in ML fundamentals , statistics, and applied mathematics.
- Advanced programming skills in Python and strong experience with SQL for data manipulation.
- Proven experience deploying ML models into production and understanding full ML lifecycles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with forecasting models or price optimization algorithms .
- Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- 3+ years of ML experience building production solutions
- Deep understanding of ML fundamentals
