Contracts Manager – Civil EngineeringSouth West | Bristol Region
£65,000–£70,000 + Car/Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
An established civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced
Contracts Manager
to strengthen its regional delivery team across the South West.
This is a senior operational position overseeing a portfolio of
highways and civil engineering schemes , with responsibility for multiple project teams and the successful delivery of works from pre-construction through to completion.
The role offers a good mix of
operational leadership, client management and business development , working closely with project, commercial and pre-construction teams across a strong pipeline of regional work.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will:
Oversee multiple civil engineering projects across the region
Lead and support Project Managers and site delivery teams
Take responsibility for programme, quality, safety and overall project performance
Work closely with commercial, planning and pre-construction teams
Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners
Support tendering and future work-winning opportunities
Monitor project performance and implement corrective measures where required
Identify opportunities for continued growth across existing and future projects
Drive best practice and continuous improvement across delivery teams
About You
We are looking for someone with:
Proven senior management experience within
civil engineering, highways or infrastructure
Experience overseeing multiple projects and delivery teams
Strong operational and commercial awareness
Experience working within framework or repeat-client environments
Good knowledge of NEC contracts
Excellent leadership and client-facing skills
SMSTS
Full UK driving licence

£65,000–£70,000 DOE
